3 Week Course (morning) - Jewellery Making Introduction (Wed 6th Oct - Wed 20th Oct '21)

3 week course for beginners

Course Times 9am - 11.30am (Wednesdays)

Learn the basic skills needed to make silver jewellery. You will be using traditional making techniques. A great beginners class and an excellent introduction to making silver jewellery.  

Techniques covered over the 3 weeks include:  

- Sawing 

- Soldering 

- Annealing 

- Sanding and polishing 

- Working with silver 

- Tools and resources 

Classes are small with a maximum of 6 students allowing for more personal teaching time.

You do not need to bring any tools etc with you to the workshop as everything is provided. 

If you wish to wear a face mask this is fine.  Hand Sanitizer is available on every bench space.


General Info:

All base metals and an allocation of silver are included in the cost of the class as well as cold/hot drinks and biscuits!

The class will be run by Martin Drury MA(RCA).
