Course Times 12.30pm - 3pm (Wednesdays)

Learn to make silver jewellery using traditional techniques. A great beginners class and an excellent introduction to making silver jewellery.  

Techniques covered over the 6 weeks include:  

- Sawing 

- Soldering 

- Annealing 

- Sanding and polishing 

- Working with silver 

- Tools and resources 

Classes are small with a maximum of 6 students allowing for more personal teaching time. You may make several pieces of silver jewellery that you will be able take home with you.

You do not need to bring any tools etc with you to the workshop as everything is provided. 

 

If you wish to wear a face mask this is fine.  Hand Sanitizer is available on every bench space.

 

General Info:

All base metals and an allocation of silver are included in the cost of the class as well as cold/hot drinks and biscuits!

The final 3 weeks of the course you are encouraged to design and make a piece of you own work.  The metal /stones etc for this can be bought directly from the Jewellery School at cost price.

The class will be run by Martin Drury MA(RCA).
